There is no greater compliment than being referred by one of my long-time clients — and that’s exactly how I met the sweetest Kuntz family.
From the moment I arrived at their family home, I knew this session was going to be special. Their property was absolutely stunning — a beautiful home surrounded by open space, peaceful views, and a large pond that created the dreamiest backdrop. Every corner of their yard felt intentional and meaningful, which made documenting their family there even more personal.
The kids were an absolute joy.
Big sister Kalli quickly became my assistant for the day, helping me get her little brother to smile and laugh. After a little trial and error, we discovered the magic words…
“Cheeeeseeee piiiiizzaaaa.”
And just like that — full giggles.
By the end of the session, we had him saying pepperoni pizza, sausage pizza… basically every pizza topping imaginable. It worked like a charm every single time. 😂
About halfway through, Grandma and Grandpa joined us for a few photos with their grandkids, and that was such a beautiful addition. There’s something incredibly special about capturing multiple generations together — the quiet pride, the sweet embraces, the way grandparents look at their grandbabies. Those moments always hit differently.
Sessions at home carry a kind of magic you can’t recreate anywhere else. It’s where memories are already being made. Where little feet run through the yard. Where stories unfold naturally. Choosing a meaningful location like that adds depth that goes beyond just “pretty pictures.”

And just when I thought Kalli couldn’t impress me more, she stepped in again — helping get their newest addition, her sweet little sister, smiling and laughing too. Watching her love on both of her younger siblings and proudly help bring out their giggles was the sweetest thing. Big sister energy in its finest form.
