Sun, Sand, waves & a Sparkly Ring

End of September on the beach with these lovebirds… and you would never believe how perfect the weather still was.

The sun was warm, the breeze was soft, and the shoreline looked like something straight out of summer. Kennedy and Jackson’s engagement session felt like the sweetest extension of the season — glowing, relaxed, and full of celebration.

We started right along the water, letting them play in the waves and just be themselves. No stiff posing. No pressure. Just sandy toes, laughter, and that “we’re getting married” kind of joy.

Of course, we had to pop champagne to celebrate. 🍾

And yes… we absolutely drank what was left after the pop. As you should.

There’s something about a champagne spray on the beach that just feels iconic. Carefree. Fun. A little chaotic in the best way.

As the evening went on, we made our way up into the dunes for golden hour — and it was unreal. The light wrapped around them so softly, highlighting every laugh, every forehead kiss, every quiet moment in between. It was warm and dreamy and everything you want from a September engagement session.

Then… outfit change.

As the sun dipped lower and blue hour rolled in, they switched into a more intimate look to close out the night — and let me just say, it was STUNNING. The mood shifted, the tones deepened, and the entire session took on this romantic, almost cinematic feel.

It was so beautiful that it deserves its own spotlight.

So if you haven’t yet — go find the blue hour post next. Trust me. You won’t regret it. It’s AMAZING.

Kennedy & Jackson, if this session is any preview of what’s coming next June, your wedding day is going to be absolute magic. I truly cannot wait.
