Five Years of Them 🤍 Documenting the Little Things
Every year, I make it a point to update photos of my pups—something I’ll truly never regret. This year felt extra special because they both turned five, which somehow feels like both a celebration and a reminder of how fast time moves.
We kept things simple and meaningful with a little session right in our backyard—the place they know best and feel most at home. There’s something so special about photographing them in their element, just being themselves.
I don’t try to overly pose or control these sessions. I let them roam, play, and exist exactly as they are, and I just capture the in-between moments—the little looks, the familiar quirks, the details that change so subtly over time.
Looking back on these photos always brings a mix of emotions. It’s a little bittersweet watching them grow, but at the same time, I feel so grateful to freeze these moments and have them forever.
Because of that, I’ll always believe how important it is to document our animals, too. They’re such a huge part of our lives, and they deserve to be remembered in the same intentional, beautiful way. Friendly reminder that I do offer pet sessions, and whether it’s playful, calm, chaotic, or cuddly—I’m here to capture them exactly as they are, so you can hold onto those memories for years to come.
These are the memories that matter most.
